I always have the most fun shopping for myself in the fall, but I tend to idealize the idea of clothes for cooler weather in my head. When I see a cashmere sweater, crisp trousers for work, or even a pretty-patterned (gasp!) trench coat, I get so excited and imagine all of the outfits I can wear.
Buying a new wardrobe for work is (very!) costly, so over the weekend I decided to hit up some great Labor Day sales and invest in some accessories to go along with some new blouses and skirts I've bought. Here are my favorites! I guess I am really into gold, that's the major theme here - but I like how each piece can be mixed/matched and maybe even worn together. I'll definitely be wearing these this week for the first week at school!

I am also a yellow gold girl...which has now spilled over into the "gender neautral" nursery colors of Provence green, gold and white. Good luck in your first week of teaching, you'll look smashing!
